What Can I Do in the Bundl Home DIY App?
4/2/2021
The Bundl Home app DIY account allows users to view scheduled services, cancel / reschedule a service, view past services, create a home record, request to add a service, and make edits to their app account.
Info
In the Info tab of the Bundl Home app, DIY users are able to see the date of their next scheduled service on the main Info screen if they have a service scheduled, click to view all upcoming scheduled services if they have services scheduled, click to cancel / reschedule a service, click to view Bundl Home subscription options, and view their services from the past 60 days.
Cancel / Reschedule a Service
If a service has been scheduled and a user needs to cancel or reschedule that service, then a user is able to click on the Cancel / Reschedule a Service button and fill out a form in order to inform Bundl Home that the service needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.
Home Record
The Record tab stores a digital home record for a user’s home. A digital home record includes details about different parts of a home, including measurement, finishes, materials, colors, types, locations, and more. These details are used by Bundl Home in order to determine quotes for services as well as the amount of time needed in order to deliver services. The digital home record is also useful to homeowners when they are not home but need to access certain details related to their home (for example, if you’re at the hardware store and need to know how much paint to purchase in order to repaint a bedroom, then you can click on the Bundl Home app on your phone and find the dimensions of the bedroom). In the app, the home record is broken up into 3 sections: Whole Home, Interior, and Exterior.
Mechanical
The Mechanical section includes a list of standard mechanical items found in homes as well as an option to add and view other mechanical items.
Each mechanical item in the list can be clicked on and then have details like location, type, and a photo added to it.
Rooms
The Rooms section includes a list of standard room types found in homes as well as an option to add and view other rooms.
Each room in the list can be clicked on and then have details added to it. The standard room types have had predetermined fields added to them based on what is typically found in the types of rooms.
Exterior
Exteriors of homes can include a variety of non-standard items. In order to accommodate this, the Exterior section of the Bundl Home app is broken up into 4 subsections: Lawn, Pedestrian, Building, and Outdoor Living.
Lawn
The Lawn section includes details related to the size of the lawn, landscaping, sprinklers, retaining walls, and obstructions in the yard.
Pedestrian
The Pedestrian section includes details related to a sidewalk, driveway, porch, deck, steps, railings, and fences.
Building
The Building section includes details related to the dimensions of the house, siding, roof, gutters, shutters, lights, chimneys, and water spigots.
Outdoor Living
The Outdoor Living section includes details related to water features, fire pits, hot tubs, pools, sport courts, sheds, docks, barns, and accessory dwelling units.
Add Service
The Add Service tab allows a DIY user to request to add a service for their home. In order to submit a request to add a service, a user selects a service they would like to add from a list, adds a description, and can also add an image.
Account
In the Account tab, DIY users are able to edit their name, address, phone, and profile picture. Users are also able to click on a button to request to have their account deleted.
